So a week ago today we were all celebrating Thanksgiving in our own ways.. I hope everyone found some happiness on Thanksgiving. I know there are so many people struggling with the economy, family troubles, loss of loved ones, and so much more...My family on Thanksgiving is very traditional...Well what I call traditional may be different than your view..As a family, and I do mean ALL of our family. From my Granny to my Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, my Mom, my Brother, all of their immediate families and my immediate family. We have a traditional meal with Turkey, Ham, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, rolls, and on and on and of course we can't forget the pies as well LOL!! We always have an open door to anyone who wants to join in Thanksgiving with us. We have had family friends, in-laws, and many other people come! But most of all we just enjoy our time together and we can be quite crazy when we all get together!! This years Thanksgiving has been the BEST one we've ever had, minus one important Uncle who could only stay for a short while...But we literally laughed so hard and so much that ALL of our muscles hurt for days!! But it was a blast and I truly am blessed with the greatest family on earth!! I love them all and I could not be more Thankful for the times we share together!!My Granny is threatening my life if I continue to take pictures of her LOL!!

AHHH finally reading "black Friday" ads...
So this past Friday I celebrated my 31st Birthday!! And I am so blessed with my Birthday because my family and friends always try to make sure I have a wonderful day!! I am such a Birthday freak LOL, I love them and I don't care that it makes me another year older!! My friends and I used to go to this country music festival called Country Stampede it's held in Manhattan KS. And never fails it always landed within my Birthday week, so the girls always allowed me to go from "a Birthday day" to "a Birthday week" Ha who wouldn't love celebrating their Birthday for many days LOL!!So Friday I had to get my hair colored, I'd had a bit of a hair fiasco....My hair is generally dark red w/some blond highlights (my natural color is blonde, but I LOVE red)!! Well I was having some shampoo issues because I have used the same product called Grund, which I absolutely love but I can't use the same product for over a year because then my hair gets oily when I wash it EVERY day!!! So I had gotten some different shampoo from my stylist but this shampoo has color in it, it's called "watercolors" and it actually deposits color when you wash your hair!! Which I of course picked one called "crimson red" because I want red...Right?!?! Well I knew I was risking turning the blonde pink but I had hoped it would get red after a couple of washes, well after wash # 2 I decided I wasn't going any further.. My blonde was officially pink LOL!! So I wore a hat all week and got it fixed Friday!! I didn't do any blonde this time it's all dark red with dark brown lowlights.. Hubby really prefer's my hair to be blonde but he says I still look pretty LOL!! So that problem fixed!!So Hubby had been out of town all of last week and got home on my Birthday, Friday. He was so sweet to bring me Birthday presents, even if he stopped at my rival's store to buy them LOL!! He said "well I had to check out the competition, right"?!?! But the thought was nice right?!?! So he got me the cutest sign that says "Horses Are Like Potato Chips You Can't Have Just One"!! We always joke about the fact that I need that shirt that says "I do not need another horse, I do not need another horse, etc"!! it's kind of true :~) And he got me the prettiest Brighton bracelet that is called "Love Rocks" oh I just LOVE it!! So then of course Friday night we had DD's rodeo and my Mama brought out a delicious Banana cake for us to eat!!So sweet!! And OH SO true LOL!!

So then Saturday night we went to my favorite restaurant called Strouds, I know my KS girl's know what I'm talking about?!?! Some of my family was there and it was so much fun, unfortunately DD was gone to camp so she didn't get to come:( Sadly I for some reason just couldn't eat so I did not enjoy their lucious food like I usually do as I only ate a little :(Then we went to my Granny's and had cake and ice cream and more family time!! It was so much fun, I love my family!! We always have such a blast together and EVERYONE in my family made my Birthday fantastic!! I hope everyone is as blessed as I am!!My Bubby and his GF!

I tell you I had a great Mother's Day this year!!! Starting the other day when J gave me the vase he made for me, then Friday DD came home and gave me a basket that she weaved herself. It's so cute, lots of different colors!! Our Mother's Day was a little different this year, we usually have a big family gathering but unfortunately we didn't get to do that...We did though have my Mom and Granny and Hubby's Mom and Dad out for lunch/dinner, oh and my cousin who is J's age came out with my mom.Me and my WONDERFUL Hubby!!!
So my day started off with my Hubby asking if I wanted to get up yet and of course I didn't so he said what do you need done so we can do it. So I told him and he came back in about an hour later and asked if I was ready yet so finally I didn't feel tired and up I go!! Hubby tells me that he is a lousy Hubby as my Mother's Day gift is not here yet, but he ordered it and has a picture of it LOL!! Only my Hubby!! But he say's DD has something that she is wrapping right now!! So I go out and finally she comes down with a hand made beautiful card and inside the card is my present so I'm feeling away trying to figure out what it is?!?! I said it feels like gravel or rocks LOL!! So I finally open it up and lo-and-behold it's a necklace from my store LOL!! She says "man that was easy, I was like I need to get Mama something...OH I'll just go shopping in her store LOL"!! So she picked me a pretty gemstone necklace and pendant to go on it...So Later in the day I say to DD "hey DD I got a call from the owner of that store you went shopping at and they want you to pay up on your bill" and DD says to me "well take it up with Daddy, he's buying" LOL!!! I laughed so hard at her!!! What a pill!! Oh and my mystery gift from Hubby is a new pair of Ariat Pro Baby's (my favorite!!!). They are soooo cute I can't wait to get them!!So we had our lunch today and it was really good!! Although we were missing some important family members and that kind of sucked!! But we hope they had a wonderful Mother's Day as well!!Me with my beautiful babies!! OK so their not babies anymore, but I can dream right?!?!
