I Have a Winner and A New Name for the Filly!!

First off I want to thank everyone for ALL of your name suggestions!! They were all really great, and thank you for voting as well!! We ended up with a tie!! The 2 names that tied were "Charm Her Like Texas" by Leanna from "Thoughts and Whatnots" blog, and the second name was "Little Texas Charm" by Growing Up A Country Girl from "Livin' It Up Country" blog... So since they tied I had to fall back on the trusty drawing the name out of a hat, and the winner is "Charm Her Like Texas" by LeAnna!! So congrats to LeAnna!!

She's definitely ready to have a name!!

I was forwarned but still shocked!! Yes she is a filly LOL!!

OK FIRST THINGS FIRST....I WILL HOLD OPEN THE NAME GAME UNTIL FRIDAY NIGHT AT 11:30 PM!! THEN I WILL POST THE VOTING BOARD AND WE WILL START THE VOTING!! GOT SOME REALLY GREAT NAMES SO FAR!!!!!!!!!

OK so let me tell you a story.... When I first found this filly and decided I wanted to see more pictures of her the lady of the ranch went out and took more and sent them to me.. With a disclosure on them!! Yes she said "Even though the one picture looks like she has boy parts hanging down, it isn’t. She just has big boobies LOL"!! And I looked in the pictures and could kind of see something but no big deal really I couldn't SEE them or anything LOL!!

So Saturday after we finally got home and unloaded I was out taking pictures and I was sitting on my knees looking at her and I seen something...I thought to myself "what was that"?!?! So I got her turned again and OH BOY HOWDY she looks like a mama that just foaled that's how big her teats are!!! It even took me a minute to remember what I had been told then I just busted out laughing and fully understood what she was trying to tell me!!! So of course I'm going to show you!!

OK Let's Name This FIlly!!!

The time has come again to ask you friends to help in picking a name for the new filly!!! So this is how we will do this... I will give you the dam's name with the link to her pedigree and a picture of her. As with the sire you will get his name and link to his pedigree as well as a picture!!! So lets make up some names then I will compile them into a follow up post so that they can be voted on!!! And what does the winner get?!?! Well a prize of course!!! Right from my very own store "The Rhinestone Cowgirls"!!

OK so as most of you know by now, we have been blessed with a beautiful painted colt!!! He was born Monday April 27, and we are having some HUGE name issues LOL!!! Which is strange for us because usually we have it within a few minutes of birth..I think this one threw us for a loop because I was so thinking it would be a filly but nope a colt it is!!

So back when our other foal from this year was born we (my mom and I) had forgotten that she had told DD that she could name the foal as that one is mom's. But DD was gone when "Angel" was born, and that was the name that my mom and I both came up with.. So DD of course crushed!! So I promised her that she could name this foal, but we are in need of some help I think... Pony Girl suggested maybe I'd need some help so that's what I'm asking for. I'm thinking if we get some idea's DD can pick one maybe?!?!

So the details to consider are; Sire name: Ritzy Dikki Doc who was sired by IM PUTTINONTHERITZ (you'll have to look at the top bar by his name and hold your curser over the picture symbol) Who is gorgeous!!! Check him out. His dam: DOC SEVENS DREAM, I have no pics of her.

This is "No NAME'S" Sire: The picture doesn't show it real clear but his black is raven black..




Dam: Black Diamond Rita who was sired by CHECK THE BREEZE and her dam is POCOS AGEE, both of which I don't have pictures of... Both of Rita's other foals I included "Diamond" i.e. her first foal I named APACHES DIAMOND MYA...

So our last bit of info, we would want something western/original as his "barn" name but to be included in his registered name..

"No name" and Angel today, she really wants to be his friend!!
