Great Rodeo Pictures!

As you all know I am addicted to taking pictures! Does that mean I need to seek help?!?!....NAH! Well when DD rodeo's I would LOVE to be able to do video and take pictures but since there is only one of me I choose video (as you all know)!! SO luckily there is a really great photographer that comes and shoots the kids' runs and he got an awesome picture of DD's wild ride from Sunday! SO I ordered a bunch of them and some lower resolution ones that I can post!

This picture is really awesome in full resolution! What a ride that was LOL!

Loved this picture as it shows her very first ever pole down in the background! We actually were starting to think her horse would not take one down! But she got him to verses breaking her pattern!

Love the flying hair LOL!

She really loves flanking the goats! These ones are always a bit heavy for her though!

Getting that string out in a hurry!

Make it good and tight!

And we're good!!

  1. When I grow up, I want to be DD.

  2. Those were great photos and I like the flying hair too.
    Thanks for sharing them.

  3. Oh my gosh - my heart was in my throat on that first picture! What an incredible shot to capture!

I'm with Leah... when I grow up I want to be DD! That chick is fearless! :)

And I just got a very special package in the mail... thank you ever so much!!!! Totally made my week and I can't wait to show them off. Blog post coming! :)

  4. I'm with everyone else...I want to be DD! If I was as fearless as her I might be able to get my neighbor's cutting mare into more than a trot!!! Love the last goat tying pic!

  5. Amazing that you could get such great photos with her in motion like that!! Wow and doesn't she look like a rock star. I bet you are so proud:)

Michelle have a very Merry Christmas with your family. Hope you know how much I've enjoyed getting to know you this year.

  6. That first photo!!!! GAH!!!!!!! What was going on there?
I must have missed something. I was watching Untamed last night and a gal's horse flipped over backwards on top of her doing that same move.
She only ended up with bruises.
And I fall off ONCE...just a horse jumping sideways....and I rip my ACL in HALF!

    NOT FAIR! (wah!)

Your daughter is amazing, though. Her butt is covered in velcro and she has rodeo angels on both of her shoulders!

    Awesome photos!

  7. Ride 'em Cowgirl!

That goat didn't have a chance

  8. The picture of her horse rearing next to the barrel should be an advertisement for them!!! Very cool pictures.

  9. Whoa, way cool! She gets a very serious face, looks like she's concentrating really hard. The look on the goat's face is great too -- "just get this over with"!! :)

  10. I remember when I was young and didn't worry about stuff like rearing horses. Now I think...what could I break. Hopefully not a hip.

  11. The photos turned out awesome!! That first one still scares me when I see it! That girl can ride to stay on like that! Me? I would have come off!
Look at DD go with the goat tie! Is steer wrestling in her future? Kiddin'!!

  12. Thanks girls!! She used to get scared but not so much anymore, she's become a better rider because of it and is more aware of what is going on!!

ps~ I'd like to be DD when I grow up too LOL!! One fall for me and I broke my back!
