I am so sorry.

One thing I still tell Mr. Daddy when he talks about his fear of leaving Itty Bit fatherless too young... is that I would much rather our son have a wonderful father for a few years, than a terrible one for his whole life.

There is a blessing in the fact that you miss him so much - the fact that you two were so close. I'm sure not everyone can say that about their dad and I'm sure glad you can.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12112453369738198010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1878331128969051364.post-8863883719188662882009-10-15T14:08:19.778-05:002009-10-15T14:08:19.778-05:00Hey Sweet Friend - the sorrow is great but the ama...Hey Sweet Friend - the sorrow is great but the amazing thing is that you are going on. Hold on to the promise that some day you will see your Daddy again, and just as important to remember is the promise from Jesus that the best is yet to come. So that means your Daddy is happier now then ever before in his 50 years and 3 months. He had heartache, and strife in this life, not anymore. I know from the depths of my soul that if he knew how deeply you grieve for him, he would want to comfort you, and ask you to just hold on to eternity, where every day is a day of happiness. The best days of your life are yet to come, just as his have come.
I love you and your brother deeply, and wish I could make the pain go away, loss is a hole that is never filled, but you can put some balm on it by your faith in The Word of God. Pray and ask for wisdom and discernment, along with the comfort of knowing all is well with your Dad.
MomBlessed by Godhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11504000972241964045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1878331128969051364.post-17842819788866696792009-10-14T08:37:54.335-05:002009-10-14T08:37:54.335-05:00I am so glad that you have such wonderful memories...I am so glad that you have such wonderful memories of your Dad--he must really have been amazing man.
